The 2020 Precedent: A Dress Rehearsal

“Watch out for election fraud… Without election fraud, we
win easily.” This statement, made in 2024, sums up Trump’s entire strategy
. In 2020, he tried to overturn the results. In
2024, he succeeded in having the charges against him dismissed. In 2026,

he is laying the groundwork to contest the results in advance.
The message is
clear: if Trump loses, it won’t be because Americans rejected
him, but because the system will have been “corrupted.”

The
FBI raids in Georgia, the purges of “disloyal”
civil servants, the threats against universities—everything is being done to
intimidate, discredit, and ultimately control.

And yet, the polls are unequivocal: Trump is at an all-time low.

So why this obsession with the midterm elections
? Because a defeat in 2026 would mean the end of his reign even before
2028

. He cannot afford to lose. Not this
time.

America has become a country where the sitting president can
say, in all seriousness, that his opponents are “rigging” the elections before
they’ve even taken place. And no one seems able
to stop him.

Redistricting: The Republicans’ Secret Weapon

In Texas, Florida, and Georgia, electoral maps are
being redrawn to favor Republicans.
An
American’s vote is no longer worth what it used to be: it all depends on which state they
live in—and the political leanings of those drawing the
boundaries
. Democrats are gaining seats in Virginia and
New Jersey, but losing ground in the Midwest.
The
2027 Congress will not reflect the will of the people, but rather the map
of political manipulation
.
